Story
During the 1972 Munich Olympics, September 5 follows an American sports broadcasting team that quickly transitions from sports reporting to live coverage of Israeli athletes taken hostage. Through this perspective, the film offers a new perspective on the live broadcast, which at the time was watched globally by approximately one billion people.
